




Dr. Xu Du received his Ph.D degree in Information and Communication System from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2002. He was a visiting scholar at university of Wollongong, Australia in 2002, and was a senior visiting scholar in University of New South Wales in Australia in 2005, and was a postdoctoral fellow in the University of Chicago in the U.S from 2007 to 2008. He has been a professor with Central China Normal University since 2014. Prior to that, he was an associate professor with the Department of Electronics and Information, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
He has led more than dozens of national, provincial, and ministerial scientific research projects, including the National 863 Program, the National Support Program, the Key Program of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Innovation Pilot Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the key project of the Hubei Natural Science Foundation, Special Projects of the Ministry of Education Information Technology, etc. He has served as associate editor of IEEE TLT and as lead guest editor of several special issues in reputable journals. Additionally, he has played significant roles in organizing international conferences, serving as General Chair, Co-Chair and TCP member. He was awarded the first prize of the Hubei Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, has published more than 100 academic papers, and holds dozens of authorized invention patents.
