




Han Chen is a Lecturer, Master’s Supervisor at Central China Normal University. He earned his Ph.D. in Intelligence Science and Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. From December 2023 to September 2024, he was enrolled as a visiting student at the University of Illinois Chicago in the United States, with his entire program expenses covered by the Full Scholarship for Graduate International Academic Exchange issued by the Scholarship Council of Huazhong University of Science and Technology’s Graduate School. Academically, he received specialized guidance and mentorship during this tenure from Professor Philip S. Yu, an internationally acclaimed preeminent expert and pioneering authority in the domain of data mining. He joined the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education of Central China Normal University in 2025.
His research focuses on educational Educational data mining, Educational large language models, Explainable educational deep learning and Graph deep learning. He has published several papers in leading international journals and conferences such as International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks and Knowledge-Based Systems. He also served as a reviewer for journals including Neural Networks and Knowledge-Based Systems. He has participated in multiple research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation General Joint Fund Cultivation Project (Grant No. U1936108), the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 62376103), the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Talent Service Enterprise Project (Grant No. 2024DJC078), the Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. G2436003), and the National Key Research and Development Program of China (Grant No. 2024YFC3307900).
